A book produced for Audi, I suspect as a giveaway.  The text is in English.  The book describes the car’s gestation and development in testing before the Le Mans 24-hour race. 

In view of Audi’s later successes at Le Mans, it is highly ironic that at this 1999 race the Audis only finished 3rd and 4th and were beaten by arch-rival BMW!
