See below the description from the dustwrapper flap.  The book is in fact a compilation, as a sewn hardback, of three of the publisher’s paperback monographs : Ancient Siege Warfare to 146BC, Siege Warfare in the Roman World, and Greek and Roman Siege Machinery.  Only the last remains in print, at £9.99.  

The publisher’s website describes this hardback book as ‘out of stock’.  We suspect this means ‘out of print’.

Beware – in order to reproduce the colour photos and illustrations, the publisher used heavyweight glazed paper.  The book weighs far more than its modest size might suggest, and would cost a good deal to send abroad.
