See the description (below) from the dustwrapper flap. It was a difficult salvage operation, as the ship was found some three miles from the reef she struck, and had clearly been moved around the sea-bed by the strong currents in the area, as the artefacts were found at various different places.
This was a serious book, published at the not insubstantial price of £15.00 in 1990, so it is disappointing that the publisher used paper of such poor quality.
