Still in print at £19.95, this was one of the first books to look at sea-angling for bass from a scientific viewpoint. The authors studied the life-cycle of the bass and in particular the fish and insects it fed on, and then using that knowledge the authors adopted sometimes unconventional methods of bass angling, notably plug fishing and fly-fishing. There is a useful section on venues where the authors have been successful in the past, with careful explanations for the success.
