The book’s title is a reference to Bairnsfather’s most famous World War One cartoon – see the reproduction below.  The character on the front of the dustwrapper is his character ‘Old Bill’.

The rights to the book were acquired by Pen & Sword Military, who reprinted the book, but only in paperback, in 2014.  It is still available from the publisher at £19.49.
