The Autobooks series were very similar to the Haynes manuals, and deal with each area of the car, with photographs, line-drawings and exploded views where appropriate (see specimen page below). There is an appendix at the end giving technical data, wiring diagrams, hints on maintenance and overhaul and a glossary of terms used, with an index. The book is bound in boards with a plastic cover, and, unlike most Haynes manuals, is a proper sewn hardback.

This copy is in very good condition for a manual of this age, with no oily marks to the page margins.

The book is now long out of print.  The equivalent Haynes manual remains in print, but only in a paperback edition, at £22.98.
