Leifsburdir (Leifsbuthir – Leif’s cottages – is the probably the more correct transliteration) is the Viking name for what is now L’Anse aux Meadows, on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland.  The area has been excavated and is now a historic monument. 

The book is out of print, even in Canada.
