Illustrated by James Sellars, an Ariel Poem, sewn pamphlet, title page with b&w decoration, one coloured illustration (see picture below), poem on two pages, further b&w illustration after poem (but in fact a larger version of the illustration on the title page), 8 pp in all, in fine condition, with the envelope the poem was sold in, which has had its flap stuck down and neatly slitted, Faber and Faber 1954

The Ariel Poems were a series published by Faber and Faber after the War, following on from an earlier series of 38 pamphlets published between 1927 and 1931 (which is all that Wikipedia acknowledge!)

It is very rare to find an Ariel Poem in this condition and with its original envelope.
