The strange bulges to the cloth of the spine are unlike anything I have seen before, and there is no good explanation for the small slit to the cloth of the rear hinge. The dustjacket is not marked or damaged in these places. I suspect this copy was sent out by the publishers as a review copy, as they often used copies slightly flawed in the binding process for this purpose.

Still in print, but only in paperback, at £14.99, though the publisher’s website states it is ‘out of stock’. This may be a euphemism for ‘out of print’.
