A classic collection, which has remained in print since 1951. The revised and reset edition published in 1997 took the opportunity to increase the font size of the notes, which in this original edition were in a size which almost requires a magnifying-glass. Consequently the new edition has 592 pages instead of 496, though a comparison of the two editions shows very little has been added. The 1997 edition remains in print at £25.00, so if you buy our edition you can have 95% of the text for 39% of the price. The new edition is also bound in boards rather than the familiar and hard-wearing Oxford cloth.
