There is slight damage to the margin of pages 1 and 123 (a tear repaired with paste), and bizarre damage to the margins of pages 45-48, where it looks as if a modeller’s grinding-wheel has abraded the open edge. Having said that, the remainder of the text is clean and bright, and all the pencil illustrations are present. See the specimen illustration below.
