This is one of two books which appeared in 1969 (the other being ‘Atlantis – The Truth Behind the Legend’ by Galanopoulos and Bacon) arguing that Atlantis was the Greek island now known as Santorini. The island was an extinct volcano which exploded unexpectedly around 1470 BC, causing a tsunami which led to the collapse of the Minoan civilization in Crete.
