The main part of the book is printed on heavyweight glazed paper in order to reproduce the photographs better, but the final two gatherings of the book (pp 243-277) only have line-drawings and diagrams, so the publisher has used a different quality of paper, which has browned significantly in comparison with the rest of the book.
