Titchfield is midway between Fareham and Southampton, just off the A27.

The author was Chairman of the Trust between 1984 and 1989.  The period included the dismantling of the derelict medieval Market Hall (pictured on the front cover) and its re-erection at the Weald and Downland Open-Air Museum near Chichester.

There is no indication from the Trust’s website (http://titchfieldvillagetrust.co.uk) that the book is still available, so I think we may assume it is out of print.
